Cover mode controls how an image fills its box when its proportions do not match the box. Set it in the **Property Panel** for a selected image. There are three options:

- **Cover**: the image fills the whole box, cropping whatever does not fit. Nothing is distorted, but the edges may be cut off.
- **Contain**: the image fits entirely inside the box, so the whole image stays visible. Empty space is left wherever the proportions do not match.
- **Stretch**: the image is stretched to fill the box exactly, which can distort it if its proportions differ from the box.

**Cover** is the usual choice for photos that should always fill a frame, no matter what your users upload. **Contain** is almost always the right choice for logos, so they are never cropped or distorted.
