# Deleting input fields

To remove an input field, select it in the **Inputs** panel and click **Delete**. You can select and delete several at once.

When you delete a field, the property it controlled keeps its current value as a fixed value. The element on the canvas does not change or disappear; it simply stops being editable in the design generator.

Deleting a [group](https://bluepic.io/help/input-fields/input-fields-group) or [collection](https://bluepic.io/help/input-fields/input-fields-collection) also removes every field inside it.
