An image input field lets the people using your design generator put their own image into an image element. Add it by selecting the image element and choosing **Image** in the add popup (see [Adding input fields](https://bluepic.io/help/input-fields/adding-input-fields)).

## Image

You can fine-tune how the field behaves:

- **Allow image upload from device**: let users upload their own image file.
- **Allow image cropping**: let users reposition and crop the image inside the element.
- **Allow padding**: add whitespace around the image when its proportions do not match the box. This applies only when the image uses **Contain** ([cover mode](https://bluepic.io/help/design-elements-and-tools/image-cover-mode)).

For a logo, choose **Logo** instead of **Image** in the add popup. It is the same field, preset to keep logos uncropped.

You can also connect an external image service so users pick from a shared library instead of uploading their own.

## Image Selection

Instead of an upload, you can let users pick from a fixed set of images. Choose **Image Selection** in the add popup, then add the images they can choose from.
