Folders keep your template library organised. They also unlock a useful shortcut in Analytics: you can filter the whole dashboard by a folder, so you see the numbers for a group of templates at once.

## Creating a folder

Click **New folder**, give it a name, and confirm. Every template lives inside a folder, so you always have at least one. Each folder shows how many templates it holds.

## Renaming and deleting folders

Open a folder's context menu (the **…** button) for **Rename** and **Delete**.

**Delete** is only available when both are true:

- the folder is **empty**, and
- it isn't your only folder.

To clear a folder first, move its templates elsewhere (see [Rename, duplicate, move or delete templates](https://bluepic.io/help/template-management/rename-duplicate-move-delete-templates)).

## Filtering Analytics by folder

In **Analytics**, open the template filter and tick a folder to include every template inside it. This is handy when you want the combined numbers for a group of templates instead of checking them one by one.
