Assets in Campaigns
A campaign used to be a collection of Templates. Now it can also hold assets like images, videos or documents. Your users can preview PDFs, play videos and download assets (Downloading never costs a credit). This turns a campaign into a brand portal: everything your team, partners or exhibitors need in one link, whether it is customizable or not.
Multiple canvases in one Template
From now on a single template can hold several canvases to serve different aspect ratios. Add a canvas in your Template Project, pick a preset like 'Instagram Story' or enter your own size, and you get an exact copy of your design that you can adjust independently.
New Pricing
As said, we simplified our pricing. From now on there is only one credit currency and three plans: Free, Pro and Enterprise. One credit is still one export from a Design Generator but API renders now draw from the same allowance (at a fraction of a credit).
- Free now includes 200 credits per year, 10 templates and 50 stored assets.
- Pro costs 1,000 EUR per year and includes 1,000 credits, 10 team members, 30 templates and 500 stored assets. You can add credits, team members, templates or asset capacity any time in exactly the quantity you need.
- Enterprise stays a custom contract with a custom credit volume and no limits on templates, team size or assets.
All details are on the pricing page.
Important
Existing customers on a paid plan keep their current conditions. Nothing changes for you unless you decide to switch.
Teams Rework
Working together in Bluepic used to be an opt-in feature with pinned folders and shared assets you had to enable one by one. That is gone. Every user now belongs to exactly one Team, and everything a member creates belongs to the Team. Templates, campaigns, images and fonts are visible and editable for everyone on the Team, and they stay with the Team when a member leaves.
Creative Automation
In the "Share" menu of the template builder you will find a new Automate view. It shows your template as a live Image URL where every input field is a query parameter you can edit in place, and as an API request. Switch canvas, output format and scale in the settings, hit Run to see the real output, and paste the URL or request into whatever system should generate designs for you.
Smaller things you should know about
- Edit directly in the preview: Users of your Design Generators can edit elements right from the preview. For example, if a user clicks on a text in the preview he or she can start writing and will see the result immediately.
- Auto-crop to faces: Image Fields have a new option that detects faces in an uploaded photo and frames the crop on them. Your users can still adjust the crop afterwards.
- Remove background: The template builder offers you the option to upload an image and make the background transparent. If you connect an input field to this image, the effect will also apply to images uploaded by your users.
- Anchoring Tool: The new Anchoring Tool lets you drag an edge of one element onto the edge of another element or the canvas. The gap between them stays alive, so when a headline gets longer or a logo changes its aspect ratio, the anchored elements follow instead of overlapping.
