Bluepic is a platform for distributed social marketing. Custom brand templates can be turned into editable Design Generators with Bluepic. These generators are interactive forms that anyone can fill out to create on-brand graphics in seconds. It works without any design skills because layout and brand errors can't happen: the Design Generator adapts the design to new content automatically.
The Bluepic workflow has three steps. First, you create graphic templates in our Template Builder. Then you define which elements the users of a Design Generator are allowed to edit. To do this, you connect input fields with the elements you've created. You can customize the input fields to your needs, for example, set character limits or restrict image sources to your company's own image cloud. In the final step, you share the finished Design Generator with your community. That works via link, as an embeddable website widget, or as a Design Toolkit. Users fill in the fields and the generator automatically adapts to the new content. Your design guidelines are maintained automatically.
Bluepic is for organizations that need many people to create on-brand content themselves. The primary customer group is trade fair and conference organizers, who give their speakers, exhibitors, and attendees personalizable social media graphics. A typical campaign activates a few hundred people, for example 300 exhibitors with 3 templates each. Universities, franchise and retail networks, associations, and NGOs use Bluepic as well. What they have in common: graphics have to stay on brand while the people producing them have neither design skills nor access to a design team.
In a Bluepic Design Generator the design itself is never edited; instead, users fill in a form. In the Template Builder you define exactly which elements are editable. Every element that isn't connected to an input field stays locked. For the editable fields you set constraints, such as a character limit on text, a dropdown for predefined options, or image sources restricted to your own asset library. Dynamic layouts then fit the design to whatever is entered, so a longer headline or a different image ratio can't push the layout out of shape. Your brand guidelines are enforced by the template itself, not by instructions your users have to remember.
A Design Generator is an interactive form: everything is locked except the input fields you defined, so end users can only change predefined content. The layout and your brand guidelines stay intact. One generator can hold a single graphic template or several. End users need no account, no software, and no design skills. They open the link in a browser, fill in the fields, and download the result or share it on social media.
It depends on where you start. From an existing preset, a Design Generator can be live in a few minutes. Building your own template from a blank canvas typically takes 30 to 60 minutes per graphic template, depending on its complexity and your experience with design software. For a fully worked-out campaign with several templates and formats, plan one to three days.
No design skills are needed to use a Design Generator, but they are needed to build the templates behind it in the Template Builder. In a Design Generator, users enter their content into a form and the template adapts to it automatically. Creating those graphic templates in the Template Builder does require design skills and is typically handled by a marketing or design team. Alternatively, there is the Implementation Service, where the Bluepic team builds the templates for 300 EUR per graphic template.
Yes, Bluepic offers various support options depending on your plan.
Regardless of your plan, you can use our Implementation Service at any time and have your designs created by our team for 300 EUR per graphic template.
In the Template Builder, your design team creates and manages graphic templates and publishes Design Generators. The Template Builder includes configuration of Design Generators as Widgets and Toolkits. Working with the Template Builder requires neither an installation nor powerful hardware. The browser-based Template Builder is accessible at https://studio.bluepic.io on desktop devices.
A Design Toolkit (also called a Campaign Kit) is a gallery containing multiple graphic templates. For example, a trade fair organizer can create a toolkit with templates for LinkedIn posts, email signatures, and website banners, all combined in a single gallery. Stakeholders receive a single link to the toolkit and can then choose from a variety of templates. Toolkits can be public or invite-only.
In peer-to-peer event marketing, your entire event community becomes a multiplier. Instead of running centralized advertising, you provide your speakers, exhibitors, attendees, and partners with personalizable graphics. Each person shares their individual graphic within their own network, either by downloading it or straight through Bluepic's LinkedIn integration. This creates organic reach that is more authentic and credible than traditional advertising. Examples of such graphics are "I'm attending" or "Hear me speak".
Yes. Bluepic has a free plan that you can sign up for at studio.bluepic.io and use straight away. It gives you access to the Template Builder, and you can publish your graphic templates as Design Generators and share them with your community. A yearly credit allowance covers the exports your Design Generators produce. What each plan includes, and what a credit is, is on the pricing page.
