Under Analytics in the Studio navigation, you see how users use your templates and campaigns: how many designs they created, downloaded and shared in the design generator. Analytics is part of the paid plans. On the Free plan, the menu item is greyed out.
You set the date range and filters at the top right. All cards below then show only that part.
Date range
- Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 180 days, Last 365 days: the last days up to today. The default is Last 30 days.
- Custom range: a calendar appears next to it, where you pick the start and end.
Filter
The Filter button opens a menu with two tabs. You filter either by templates or by one campaign, not by both at once. When a filter is active, the button shows it, for example My templates.
- By template: shows only the templates you tick. If you tick a folder, all templates in it count.
- Only my templates: only in a team, under By template. Shows only templates you created yourself. In a team, it is ticked by default. Untick it to see the whole team.
- By campaign: shows one campaign or All campaigns. The list only has campaigns with activity.
- Clear filter: resets all filters. You then see the whole team.
Totals
The top card shows the totals for the date range. A diagram below shows how the generated designs split into downloads and platforms and how many link clicks came from them.
- Generated designs: how many designs users created.
- Downloads: how often users downloaded a design.
- LinkedIn posts: posts that users published on LinkedIn straight from the design generator. Only for LinkedIn does Bluepic confirm that the post went live.
- Download (Instagram), Download (Facebook) and so on: on all other platforms, users download the design and post it themselves. So Bluepic counts the download, not the post.
- Link clicks: clicks on links in the posts. Only available for LinkedIn.
- Asset views and Asset downloads: how often files in a campaign's brand portal were viewed and downloaded. Only shown when there was activity there.
The numbers count events, not people and not credits.
Trend
The second card shows the numbers over time.
- Generated designs: designs created.
- Breakdown by target: downloads and posts, split by platform.
- Portal assets: views and downloads in the brand portal. Only shown when there was activity there.
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly: how values are grouped. The default is Daily.
- Non-cumulative: one bar per day, week, month or year. This is the default.
- Cumulative: a line that adds the values up.
Top templates, Top campaigns, Top assets
The next card compares your content, with one row per template, campaign or file.
- Top templates: generated designs per template, plus downloads and posts per platform.
- Top campaigns: the same per campaign. Only shown while you see all campaigns. Clicking a campaign filters the page to it.
- Top assets: views and downloads per file in the brand portal. Only shown when there was activity there.
Posts and Accounts
The last card lists the LinkedIn posts that went out through your campaigns. The search field on the right filters the list.
- Posts: each post with Post, Author, Caption, Link clicks and Date.
- Accounts: each LinkedIn account with its posts and Total link clicks.
- Redacted: shown instead of Author and Caption when Redact post logging is turned on for the campaign. Bluepic then doesn't store the name and the text.
Analytics of a single campaign
Web and widget campaigns have their own Analytics step. It shows the same cards for that campaign only, with the heading Analytics and the note "Render activity, exports, social-share and brand-portal engagement for this campaign." You choose the date range at the top right there. There is no filter. Team campaigns have no Analytics step.
