Watermarks and Bluepic branding: when each appears

Last updated October 22, 2026

In the design generator and in exported files, Bluepic can appear in two ways: as a watermark in the file, or as Bluepic branding on the design generator page. Each has its own reason and goes away in its own way.

The watermark

The watermark is the word "BLUEPIC", semi-transparent and repeated diagonally across the whole file.

It appears like this:

  • Your usage goes over the credits of your plan. The owner and the admins get a notification in Studio and an email with the date from which the watermark starts. Without a team, you get them yourself.
  • For three days, everything keeps working normally. Exports keep costing credits during that time.
  • After that, exports get the watermark: from design generators, through the API and through image and video URLs. Files with a watermark cost no credits.

This applies to Free and Pro. Enterprise never gets a watermark. Exports from a team campaign don't get it either when team members are signed in or someone enters the campaign password. During this time the Batch Editor doesn't create watermarked files, it creates none at all.

To get rid of the watermark:

  • Pro: An admin adds enough credits under Settings > Billing to bring usage back within the plan. New exports are normal again right away.
  • Free: Upgrade to Pro.
  • Both plans: As soon as the next period starts, exports are normal again.

Image and video URLs then deliver files without a watermark again by themselves. Files that were already downloaded keep it. Export them again.

Bluepic branding

Bluepic branding is the Bluepic logo that users see on the design generator page: in the bar at the top or, if the campaign has a landing page, at the bottom of the page. It never appears in exported files.

You turn it off in the campaign's Generator Theme step with the Bluepic Branding checkbox. This works on Pro and Enterprise. On Free it stays on, and turning it off opens the Unlock branding removal popup.

Branding and watermark are not connected. Turning off the branding doesn't remove a watermark. Adding credits leaves the branding on until you turn it off.
